Tug Fork TMDL Approved

March 28, 2023
The United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region III (EPA) has approved the total iron, dissolved aluminum, manganese, pH, and fecal coliform bacteria Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for the Tug Fork Watershed.

This report includes Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for 328 assessment units in the Tug Fork River watershed. This project was organized into 88 TMDL watersheds, which account for all streams draining to the Tug Fork River.
