§319 Program Reports

Overview

The Watershed Improvement Branch's NPS Program annual report provides a snapshot of nonpoint source program activities that occurred in 2022/2023. The report highlights completed projects, statewide implementation progress, outreach and more. It is divided here into four sections for easy reading.

Report Archive

These documents are West Virginia’s revised Nonpoint Source Management Plans. They update the State’s Nonpoint Source Management Plan originally developed under §319 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) in 2000. These documents were developed by the WV Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) as part of its workplan with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

According to EPA guidance, states should periodically review and evaluate their Nonpoint Source Program Management Plan. State’s should assess their goals and objectives and revise their Program’s goals and objectives every five years or as appropriate.

2014-2018 Annual Reports

The following reports provide summaries of activities associated with nonpoint program and watershed project funds for years 2014 through 2018 in accordance with the WV 2014 NPS Management plan.

2019-2023 Annual Reports

The following reports provide summaries of activities associated with nonpoint program and watershed project funds for years 2019 through 2023 in accordance with the WV 2019 NPS Management plan.
