Permitting Policy for Instream Stations

Description
: Currently, permittees are required to monitor instream stations at the same frequency as the permitted outlets. In certain circumstances, permittees may request reduced monitoring of instream outlets. This policy memoorandum sets forth the requirements and procedures for reduction of monitoring frequency for instream stations.

: This policy memorandum sets forth the procedures and practices for permitting precipitation-induced outlets, including but not limited to on-bench outlets, that are used to control and/or treat discharges that primarily only occur due to precipitation events.
