Miss Makey's May Challenge
You Never Know What Can Be Made!
The WV DEP's Youth Environmental Program, along with West Virginia author Mandi S. Figlloli, is challenging you to turn your trash into treasure! Read the book, "Miss Makey and the Magic Bin" and create your own invention out of recyclables! Then submit a picture to dep.yep@wv.gov or post to Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #MissMakey.
All entries must be received by May 31. One entry per person. Please include the name of your invention, how it works, along with the inventor's name, age and mailing address. Winners will be selected from two age groups: 11 and under and 12 to 18. If you don't have a copy of the book, watch and listen. For more information about the challenge, view the flyer.
