Hydrologic Group E

Overview

West Virginia Hydrologic Group E is one of five groups the 32 major watersheds in the state are divided into (Groups A - E).

Recent Work in Group E

  • Pre-TMDL monitoring of select streams in the Cacapon River Watershed is complete. A contract has been awarded for the technical work on the Fecal coliform and pH TMDLs. Updates on the process will be noted here.

  • TMDLs for select streams in the Upper Guyandotte River Watershed were Approved in March 2021.

  • TMDLs for select streams in the Big Sandy, Lower Ohio, and Twelvepole Creek Watersheds were Approved in March 2021
