DEP's Human Resources Department supports the agency and its employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle, from recruitment and hiring through development, workplace support, and separation. HR works closely with employees and management to provide guidance, administer essential programs and services, address workplace matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

New employee onboarding, orientation, HR questions, and employee assistance throughout the employment lifecycle.

Leave and Timekeeping

Leave administration, FMLA and other leave requirements, timekeeping, timecard administration, and the leave donation program.

Employee Benefits and Wellness

Health, life, dental, vision, flexible benefits, workers' compensation, retirement, wellness, and telework programs.

Employee Relations and Performance Management

Employee concerns, grievances, investigations, performance evaluations, progressive discipline, and workplace issues.

Training, EEO and ADA

Employee training and development, educational reimbursement, EEO, ADA, non-discrimination, and related employee complaints.

Offboarding and Separation

Separation processes, required documentation, and coordination of employee departures.
