20th Annual Watershed Celebration Conference Set for Oct. 26-27 in Fayette County

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Oct. 24, 2018) – The 2018 Watershed Celebration Day conference is set for this weekend at Adventures on the Gorge in Fayette County.

The two-day event features a legislative update from Angie Rosser of the West Virginia Rivers Coalition, a panel discussion on the status of natural gas pipeline construction, and an awards ceremony in which various watershed groups will be presented grant funding to continue their work. 

Watershed Celebration Day is a single event that brings together nearly two dozen watershed protection groups from across West Virginia to share success stories, learn from each other, and to brainstorm solutions to common watershed threats.
