The Fayette County Green Team and West Virginia Sustainable Communities invite community members and leaders from Fayette County to participate in an interactive Sustainability Awareness Training on Wednesday, May 25 in Fayetteville.
The training is free and will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the old Eddy Out Eatery, located at Ace Adventure Gear, 851 Fayette Station Rd., in Fayetteville. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
This fun and relaxed training will illustrate how communities and businesses can achieve prosperity by optimizing not only on their economic assets, but also their environmental and social assets. Citizens of any age, occupation, or civic affiliation are encouraged to attend.
West Virginia Sustainable Communities is a West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection initiative housed at the West Virginia Community Development Hub, with support from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
