Public meeting set for Antero compressor station permit applications

 

A public meeting has been scheduled to share information regarding Antero Resources Appalachian Corporation’s air quality permit applications for the Canton North Compressor Station (Doddridge County) and the Mountain Compressor Station (Tyler County). The meeting, being conducted by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection Division of Air Quality (DAQ), is set for May 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Doddridge County Senior Citizens Center, located at 403 West Main St., West Union.

Antero has proposed to construct and operate a natural gas compressor station at each location. Antero submitted to the DAQ its permit applications for the two facilities in January. The Engineering Evaluations and Draft Permits can be downloaded at:

Copies of the applications, engineering evaluations and draft permits prepared by the DAQ are also available for public inspection during normal business hours at the following location:
