WVDEP Hosts ‘DEP Day’ at the Legislature
CHARLESTON, WV -- The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) held its WVDEP Day at the Legislature Thursday morning in the Capitol’s Upper Rotunda.
The event featured 11 divisions and offices within the WVDEP, such as the Division of Mining and Reclamation, Office of Oil and Gas, Office of Environmental Remediation, Division of Air Quality, Office of Abandoned Mine Lands, among others. Each division set up a booth explaining their functions within the WVDEP, and the work they have done to help protect West Virginia’s resources.
