INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection, in partnership with West Virginia State University,
participated in a Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Festival for
Black Diamond Girl Scouts Saturday on the campus of West Virginia State
University.
The WVDEP’s Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan (REAP),
Division of Air Quality, Youth Environmental Program, and Project WET set up
activities and displays regarding water quality and conservation, insects and
our ecosystems, and soil conservation, among others, and taught the importance of
an education in one of the STEM fields.
