In 2018,
West Virginia’s Non-point Source Program and the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency provided technical support and funding to a wide variety of partner
organizations that included watershed groups, state agencies and other
non-governmental organizations. Together, these partners reduced 236,594 pounds
of metals, acidity, nutrients and sediment pollutants, and more than 8-billion
fecal coliform bacteria from 44 different watersheds. To learn more, read the
