Workshops to focus on energy efficiency for public, private buildings

 

Four workshops that focus on energy efficiency best practices for commercial and government buildings are scheduled throughout the state this spring and summer. The workshops, which run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., are sponsored by Industries of the Future-WV, the West Virginia University Industrial Assessment Center and the state Division of Energy.

The workshops are designed for building managers, operators and maintenance personnel and will cover energy basics; maintenance and trouble-shooting; and operational considerations among other topics.

Dates and locations of the workshops are:
Friday, May 16 – Cabela’s Tridelphia
Thursday, June 12 – Raleigh County Convention Center, Beckley
Thursday, June 26 – Cabela’s, Charleston
Thursday, July 17 – Holiday Inn, Martinsburg
