WVDEP to Hold Two Air Permit Public Meetings In Jefferson County

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Sept. 26, 2018) – The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) Division of Air Quality (DAQ) will hold two public meetings on Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Ranson Civic Center.

The first public meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to provide information
regarding Bardon, Inc.’s proposal to modify their current General Permit Registration G40-
C003G by installing replacement conveyors at their Millville Quarry in Harpers Ferry.

In addition to comments being accepted at the public meeting, written comments on the Bardon, Inc. application will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12. All written comments can be addressed to:

Those submitting comments should include the applicant’s name and permit application number — Bardon, Inc., G40-C003H — along with their name, return address, and daytime telephone number. Commenters should also indicate any organization on behalf of which comments are submitted. 
 
The second public meeting will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to provide information
regarding TeMa North America, LLC’s proposal to construct a plastics extrusion facility in Kearneysville.

In addition to comments being accepted at the public meeting, written comments on the TeMa North America, LLC application will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15. All written comments can be addressed to:

viewing applications, interim permit review documents, engineering evaluations/fact sheets, and

Copies are also available for public inspection during normal business hours at the WVDEP headquarters in Charleston.
